FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 WILL START A DAY EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is being held in November this year. Previously scheduled for the 21st of November 2022, FIFA has now announced the opening match will be bought forward by one day. Adjust your calendars to November 20th, football fans! 

 

The football tournament has been scheduled due to Qatar playing the opening match as per custom when previously the opening match was between Netherlands and Senegal. The match schedule has also undergone some changes. Qatar will be kicking off the World Cup 2022 and will be playing against Ecuador for the opening match on Sunday, November 20th. The match will take place at Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor.

 

No worries, footie fanatics! No other changes have been announced by FIFA. The Netherlands versus Senegal match will now take the previous slot for Qatar versus Ecuador.
